“Soak your senses in the floral essence”

A Parisian-inspired retreat and quintessential lounge, Cafe De Flora is an iconic landmark in Chanakyapuri New Delhi. The floral paradise of leisure is centred on the exquisite palette of irresistible French flavours and artisanal beverages proffering an identity of flavours and flowers.

Problem Statement

Inspired by the Cafe De Flore cafe in Paris, the client desired the customers to experience the city of Paris at the heart of Delhi. The place needed to be promoted on social media to attract heavy footfall garnering more towards a refined audience. The initial challenge that came upon us was to launch the place in the month of December, which didn’t serve as a good time for launching restaurants. Moreover, the other major challenges associated with the brand was its location, which already had lots of cafes that were receiving a good attraction from the audience.

Emily in Paris Campaign

One of our most successful campaigns was conceptualized during the month of January. The release of the new season of Emily in Paris became a great opportunity for us to maximize the awareness of our brand. We did a moment marketing campaign called #EmilyatCDF centered around the theme of the show which was a hit. As the show was a huge rage among our audience we decided to conduct a contest called Just Like Emily wherein you had to show up dressed up in your favourite Emily look and get clicked at your favourite spot at the place which had to be promoted on your instagram page with the hashtag #EmilyatCDF and the best picture got a chance to win a meal for two.

Campaign

We started observing that a lot of influencers were visiting our cafes because of the picturesque feel of the cafe. So, we thought of capitalising on it by promoting the cafe through various influencers. We collaborated with various influencers such as and initiated the campaign up with a pre launch, launch, and post launch strategy.

Pre-Launch

For the pre-launch phase we asked the influencers to visit the cafe before its launch and create a buzz around the place by sharing stories tagging the place and promoting the eateries and ambience of the place.

Launch

To kickstart our launch we did a collaboration between Cafe De Flora and the esteemed Dr. Dipti Dhillon. The idea was to let Dr. Dipti host the launch event for us and prior to the launch shared invites with her peers with a special gift hamper that was curated by us. Post the invite we shot the launch of the video catching the glimpses of their experience at the place.

Post-Launch

Due to the successful launch of the cafe, the place became the hot spot for influencers to visit and get themselves clicked. Henceforth, the post launch activity included the influencers to share their honest reviews of their experience at Cafe De Flora and tagged other peers to come visit the place.

The campaign received a huge appreciation and we were able to garner significant reach and engagement on our pages

Media Coverage

The launch event proved to be a great success which we amplified from strong media coverages creating credibility for our brand and escalated the brand’s exposure to the right set of audience. Some of the top publishers that covered us were, Elle, Man’s World, Hello India, Cosmopolitan, NDTV food, among others.

In summary, our social media strategy had led us to a rapid and consistent growth of our follower base.
In a span of 1 year, we have consistently increased our audience to nearly 10K followers
